I was surprised to learn, that of all the videos there are 10 hr versions of.... like Nyan Cat.

There is no 10 Hr Video of Girls Jumping on Trampolines.

Suggest things you want here or they wont be put in.

Things added so far:
  • Moderation functions no longer a dropdown, they appear in a modal (and edits require at least admin tier perms).
  • Added ban by image matrix, which will ban an image much more effectively than a hash ban
  • Added posting with unique embed, embed a youtube/vimeo video or soundcloud shit or something to make a thread in a board that requires an image
  • Added report feature for normal users, users will see a modal with a report form that will subsequently show up in the moderation que
  • Alerts/Posts/Chat all now comes from the same json call, meaning all dynamic content on the page should load much more efficiently
  • Threadded/Normal threads is optional, although threaded is the default
  • Replies to posts now async (Replies: postid, postid) like that
  • Greentext fixed
  • All boards have the option of either async pagination or normal pagination
  • If enabled, all pages will load entirely via json which should give the illusion of quicker pageload times
  • Added atom, rss, json, and xml feeds of all new posts by user (you can add your personal atom, rss, json, or xml feed to your news aggregate)
  • API, 1Eden v3 will likely have twitter and facebook connect (I know you all hate this, but its more for troll accounts)
  • Added polling (as a unique, a user can add a poll to his/her post in place of an upload/embed/image)
  • The News and Stats pages will be removed in place of a 'blog' type board area, this will simply be a blog style board in which only admin and higher tier members can post
  • The Rules page will be removed, and clicking 'view rules' (which is at the bottom of the page) will open a modal displaying all board rules (which can be specific to each board)
  • Janitors can now be assigned to boards separately (they can mod /b/ but not /c/ for example)
  • The admin panel features a full stats page, basically a mirror of google analytics
  • Admins will have the ability to 'submit' any thread/post via the admin panel automatically to any of the social applications 1eden is associated with (the 1eden twitter for example)
  • BillFromAccounting is just called Bill
  • Bill now uses threading, so posts to bill should no longer take like 5 seconds
  • rather than http://images.1eden.com/(src/thumb), the full url to images will also include the board name, eg http://images.1eden.com/b/src/image.jpg
  • There will be a staff application page
  • Likely we will also add some sort of merch store, i know you jews wont buy anything.. but maybe someone will
  • IP ban is now replaced with what i call 'blanket ban', where a user is banned not just on their IP but many other unique identifiers
  • CP posts are automatically banned/deleted when they present signs of already banned CP posts
  • You will be allowed to upload your own personal 1eden CSS file which will display whenever you open 1eden on any computer with your account
  • Frontpage is to be replaced with a far more efficient system of displaying new posts (and listing boards)
  • ##Tags are removed
  • Achievements are fixed
  • You will be able to browse other websites while in the 1eden dashboard, although im 50/50 about adding this
  • You will be able to switch 1eden between 'forum' mode and 'imageboard' mode which will essentially flip it between 1eden and fullyserious style

Basic backend functionality now works on v3
I hope that i will get time to do the JS over the weekend, but im not 100%

A few things you should know:
v3 uses a different db to 1eden, I will try my best to port v2 posts over to v3 (most already are up until the day before yesterday).

When we switch, there will be a dead and missing content purge.. we have ghost posts and several posts are missing their thumbnail (fixed in v3), these will all be purged when we make the move.

So v3 now has the ability to view the boards/threads (this wasnt as easy as it seems, i rewrote EVERYTHING)

couple things you will notice, threads with more than 100 posts will have the posts before the latest 100 omitted by default (eases pageload), and you will see the 'x posts omitted. Load more'. Clicking load more (both in thread or in the board) will load another 100 posts before the oldest one.

Secondly pages have changed, you will see that pages now show a 'Next', 'First', 'Previous', and 'Last' links and only display within 5 pages of your current page. This is to ease the browsing. And this will automatically change if you have enabled async scrolling.

it has a better looking interface and improved speed, as well as allowing custom comments on every single image, as well as setting the subject of the thread
Let me know how you get on with it

It' also has some improved error handling (It logs to a file called dumper.log which you can send to me so I can diagnose errors)

Good Lord Holmes, you and I must be married or some shit. Coder should only be disrespected on certain days (he has the list but won't post it dammit)... I think Tuesdays are cool but, like, only around 3 pm his time. Oh.
